Order and Payment

Do I have to set up an account to place an order?
To place an order you will have to create an account on the Modani website. This will allow you to see more detailed information about our items, make a wish list, view your purchase history and purchase your Modani item. If you already have an account, you can login entering the email and password you signed up with.

Modani ensures that all your details are kept safe. No personal information will be shared and payment details are not stored.
How do I create an account?
You can easily create your Modani account by clicking on the Login/Register icon , located in the menu at the top of our website. Then click on Sign Up and fill in the mandatory information, marked with an asterisk*. Finally, click on Submit.

You will receive a confirmation email with a password to the email address you provided when creating your account. Make sure to check your spam and junk folder as well. Please contact us if you need assistance or require more information.
I forgot my password, what should I do?
To reset your password, simply click on the "I forgot my password" link and enter the email address you used to create your account. You will then receive a password reminder email. You can then log in with your password as normal. If you have not received an email, check your junk or spam folder to see if the password reminder email was delivered there instead of in your inbox. How do I place an order on the Modani Website?
Shopping on the Modani Online Store is easy and safe. To browse our collection effortlessly, select a category from the navigation menu or browse our selections on the home page. If you are looking for something specific, use our site search option. The page of each item presents a description as well as the composition of the article.

Before placing an order make sure you are logged in with your Modani account. If you are ordering from the Modani website for the first time, please sign up.

Once you have found the item you would like to purchase, click on the "Add to Cart" button to place it in your shopping bag. For rings, please indicate the desired size. If you don`t know your ring size, please click on the "Determine your ring size" button for more guidelines. Once your purchase is complete, click on the shopping cart icon. Check that the basket contains all the items you wish to purchase and click on "Go to checkout". Follow the directions through the checkout process to complete your order. Check that all the information entered is correct and click on "Confirm and Pay". Make sure you accept our terms of use. When finalizing your order you can chose whether you would like to pick up your order at our boutique or have it delivered.

Once the checkout and payment has been completed, you will shortly receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.
 
You will receive another email with your track and trace, once the carrier picked up your order from our boutique and is ready for delivery or shipping. Please note that for security purposes, all Modani shipments require an adult signature upon delivery.

The details provided to Modani are kept private and confidential and will not be forwarded to any third parties under any circumstances. All transactions on the Modani website are extremely secure. We are certified with the SSL encryption system that protects your personal data and your payment details. Modani wishes to provide the highest level of assurance and protect your privacy.
What is the availability status of items on the website?
Our website features an extensive collection of our merchandise for online shopping. All items offered for sale on our Modani e-boutique are available within immediate shipment or withing 3 to 4 weeks.

Our online offering may differ from that of our retail store. If you are interested in a specific item that does not appear on our website, don`t hesitate to contact us.
How can I order a custom made design?
Modani provides personalized services that are accessible and allow you to design your dream jewelry piece. Your unique pieces can have a simple or complex design and can be tailored to any budget, style or taste.

Modani helps you figure out the details, examine all the options, and guides you through each step of creating a piece of custom jewelry. Your project is handled with the highest precision, care, and knowledge and we`ll tweak the details until you say it`s perfect.
 
In order to bring your ideas to life in a tailor-made piece of jewelry, we will have several conversations, through our design request form, emails, Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp. You can also book an appointment at our boutique with our jewelry experts and head designers, Hani and Moshe Danielov.
 
Step 1: Share your dream 
The first step of ordering a custom made design is to share the ideas that you have of your dream jewelry. It can be through pictures, a design from our collection, a drawing or even a simple description. This will help us to understand what you have in mind and be able to guide you better.

Step 2: Get a quote 
After you shared your dream piece with us, we will send you propositions of specific gemstone based on your design idea and a price offer. We will guide you as you consider the different offers and will answer any questions that you might have.
Once you have given us your agreement to the quotation a deposit of 60% will be charged before we start the 3D sketching process.
 
Step 3: See it come to life 
The third step is visualizing your piece with high resolution 3D renderings, giving you the ability to instantly imagine what your jewel will look like in reality. We`ll adjust every detail until your jewel is as you dreamed.

Once the final 3D design is approved, our highly skilled experts will start the production and hand finish your jewel. From that moment, no more modifications or cancelations are accepted.

It takes approximately 1 to 6 weeks to create your unique jewel, depending on the model. For express service please contact our sales representatives.

Step 4: Treasure it 
Receive your custom piece, with the assurance it`s been made to wear and last a lifetime.

Our team will contact you when your unique jewel is ready to be picked up or shipped to your desired address. You will then pay the resting amount.

If you are interested in a specific design shown on our website, but would like to make some changes, we can send you a personal quotation.

You can choose to change the size(s), quality or color of the diamonds or change the diamonds into gemstones such as emeralds, sapphires, rubies etc. You can also choose to change the color of the gold into yellow, white or rose gold. Changing the diamond shape is also possible, we will then redesign the model for the required diamond shape.

Specific modifications such as changing the ring size, engraving, gold color or shipping address are accepted withing 24 hours after placing your order.

Cancelations of online purchases are only accepted within the first hour after you placed your order and are free of charges. Your payment will be cancelled immediately.

Please note that tailor-made designs cannot be cancelled after the 3D design is approved.

Is VAT included in the final price?
The Belgian BTW/VAT of 21% is included in the pricing of all Modani jewelry.
I have not received an order confirmation, what should I do?
In case you have not received a confirmation email of your order, please check your junk or spam folder to see if the email was delivered there instead. If you need additional assistance please contact us.
How do I change information on my order after it has been placed?
In case you would like to modify information on your order such as; ring size, engraving, shipping address, etc. Please contact us within the first twenty four hours after your purchase.
How can I change the ring size after my order?
You can find various tools to determine you ring size on our Modani website before purchasing a ring. If you mistakenly selected the wrong ring size while placing your order, please contact us within the first 24 hours to correct your order information.
Can I include a personalized message to my gift order?
Modani invites you to express yourself with a personalized gift message to accompany your purchase. You will be given the opportunity to write a message at checkout. The message will arrive with your package, printed and enclosed in an envelope.
Can I insure Modani jewelry?
We insure each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require an adult signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you are not the receiver of your purchase (for example a gift order) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.

You will receive the corresponding certificate and invoice of your purchase in case you would like to insure your Modani items privately at your insurance company.

What cleaning services does Modani offer?
Overtime jewelry can become a little bit dull and lose their original shine. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality of service for your jewelry. Therefore we recommend you to bring your Modani jewelry back to our boutique as often as once a year for professional cleaning and restore it to its original shine. After careful inspection of the jewel and depending on its characteristics and condition, we may recommend simple cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning or polishing, to remove surface scratches and maintain its shine and durability. For white gold jewelry, the polishing service includes rhodium plating to strengthen the shine of the metal.
 
Our cleaning services are complimentary when presenting a Modani certificate.
How can I get an item repaired?
Modani offers complimentary repair services for manufacturer defects under the two years warranty. You may either bring your item to our boutique or request a repair via this link. If you request a repair via our website, please follow the instructions.

Our experts will then conduct a thorough examination of your jewelry and provide the appropriate service.

How much does it cost to repair a Modani Jewelry?
The cost to repair a Modani jewel varies and is determined after an assessment is made by our professionals. When the assessment is complete, we will send you an estimate. For wear and tear repairments; pricing varies based on the type of product, material and/or gemstone. Repairments of manufacturer defects are complimentary within our two years warranty. We kindly request presenting your Modani certificate when requesting a repair.
Can I swim or shower wearing Modani Jewelry?
Your Modani jewelry is meant to be worn daily and can last a lifetime or beyond. We advise our customers to wear their Modani items whenever, wherever they like and simply enjoy it. 
In case a cleaning or repair service is needed, request a repair or visit our boutique in Antwerp. Our team will provide you the best service and take professional care of your Modani item.
Can my ring be resized?
Modani offers complimentary resizing for all ring purchases. To have your ring resized, visit our boutique or send it out for resizing. If you are unsure of your ring size, view our size guide. 
Please present your Modani certificate when requesting a ring resize.
Can I replace missing pieces from Modani jewelry sets?
You can hand in your Modani items (in need of repair) in our boutique, or request a repair via our website and send it out for repairment. After careful inspection of your jewelry, we will provide the appropriate service. Modani offers complimentary repair services for manufacturer defects under the two years warranty. This limited warranty does not cover damage arising from normal wear and tear, accidents or improper use. To repair your item we request presenting the corresponding Modani certificate.

Shipping and Delivery

How is my order packaged and delivered?
Online orders are sent securely with a courier service and a signature will be required upon delivery.
Your Modani jewelry will be presented in our signature Modani boxes with its corresponding certificate(s).
Which shipping options are available?
We work with trusted global shipping and delivery companies that are specialized in handling valuable items such as; FedEx, DHL, BRINKS, DPD and UPS.

For items available for immediate purchase, please allow 1-5 working days for delivery. However, some items are only available within 3 to 4 weeks, which requires a longer delivery time. The availably of each item is mention on our website below the price tag.

All orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding national and bank holidays.

What are the shipping fees?
All of our Modani items are shipped to you from Belgium via a secure, tracked courier service and an adult signature will be required upon delivery. Please note your billing and shipping address must match.

We offer free shipping worldwide on orders over €1000. For all European orders under €1000, there is a €55 charge that will be added at checkout. For international orders under €1000 this is €95. 

If your order is a rush, please contact us. Our team will send you a cost estimate of your express delivery.

Kindly note Modani only ships on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank or national holidays). Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following business day.
How long does the delivery or shipping take?
Your item will be delivered as soon as payment for your order has been received. The shipping time varies depending on the availability of the product, shipping company and destination.

Returns and Exchange

How do I return or exchange an item ordered via the Modani website?
We do not offer refunds, nor do we allow returns. Should you wish to exchange your purchase, you can do so within 30 days of receiving your order. Contact us within 14 days upon your receipt and request an exchange. You will then receive an approval and detailed guidelines for returning your order safely and secured. Items are accepted for exchange if returned in their original condition, accompanied by the Modani packaging, Modani certificate and corresponding invoice. 

Once we receive your returned order, you will get informed by mail. The jewelry item will go through careful examination before the exchange is processed, to ensure it replies to our terms and conditions. We cannot process exchanges on items that have been customized, worn, used, resized or damaged. Modani reserves the right to refuse exchanging any item that does not meet the above requirements according to its sole discretion. We will inform you in either case. 

Of course, you are always more than welcome to visit our boutique and let us take care of your requirements. 

* This rule also applies to gifted items.
Can I return a personalized item?
We do not allow returns, nor can we process exchanges on items that have been personalized, worn, used, resized or damaged.

Services and Personalisation

Is it possible to engrave Modani jewelry?
Modani is pleased to offer an engraving service to personalize your jewelry piece with a message, name or date. The size of the engraving and the number of characters depend on the model.

Please note, a personalized jewelry piece cannot be returned or exchanged.
What are the different engraving styles and prices?
Modani offers a complimentary engraving service to personalize most of our creations with a message, a name or a date. As all Modani jewelry pieces are unique, some items cannot be engraved. When you place an order on the Modani website, you will have the option of adding the engraving service.

We offer multiple engraving options from diamond drag, computer assisted to laser engraved. You can browse the different fonts here. In case you wish for a specific font, please mention it in your order and we will do our best to answer your requirement.

Please note engraved items are unexchangeable and unreturnable.

Can I personalize my gift?
You will be able to include a personalized gift message with your purchase at checkout, which will be printed and enclosed in an envelope.

Warrantee and Guarantee

Modani warranty policy.
Your Modani jewelry is warranted for a period of two years from the date of original purchase from our Modani website or boutique. The warranty applies against any manufacturing defects under normal use, after such defects have been confirmed by our experts. This limited warranty does not cover damage arising from normal wear and tear, accidents or improper use.
Modani guarantee policy.
Modani offers a 2 year guarantee period in which she commits herself to keep her customers satisfied with regards to the product and services she offers. Any repairs and other deliveries ensuing from this is covered by our warranty policy.

Certification

What is the Modani Diamonds certificate?
With the purchase of any Modani jewelry you will receive an authenticity certificate. We recommend that you store the certificate safely, as it guarantees the date of purchase and authenticity of your jewelry and covers all manufacturing defects for two years. Please bring your certificate with the jewel to our Modani store whenever you need service. If you purchased your Modani jewelry online, the certificate will be shipped with your purchase.

Some Modani diamond settings come with additional HRD, GIA or IGI certification. This document contains vital statistics related to your diamond, from its grades based on the 4C`s to its unique laser-inscribed serial number.
